Painting started for me in the 60's and continued on a part time basis whilst working as an engineer. A few years ago
I changed things around and now my painting is the major priority. I have sold work overseas but mainly in the UK,
both straight off the easel as well as through commissions, the custom coming mainly as a result of many exhibitions
but also and just as importantly from word of mouth.
In the past I have also taken on commercial work as a pub sign painter and recently I have started making stage
scenery, this is community based work and fantastic fun.
Oil on canvas is my medium of choice for all fine art subjects but I use most media and I am based in the county of
Worcestershire near to the towns of Evesham and Pershore.
As can be seen from the following pages a lot of my work could be described as traditional, but recently I have derived
an immense amount of pleasure painting more contemporary work inspired by music. It's so much fun to do. I hope
you enjoy viewing as much as I enjoyed the painting.
